The diagrams below represent the proportion of individuals born within and outside of Australia living in cities, towns, and countrysides between 1950 and 2010.
Overall, depsite changes in the patterns, it is notably seen that by the current century the majority of babies were born in cities rather than other potential locations.
Firstly, a half of the gross number of children were born in Australia’s cities, while around 60% were born outside that rebuplic in other cities, respectively. However, by 2010, these figures had grown up to 62% and 80%.
Regarding the middle ponts of the previous century, women had given to birth to 20 percent of infants throughout Austraila in towns, and approximately 30 percent of children in another country’s rural areas, respectively. Nevertheless, the chart projects that these shares had went down to almost 15% after 6 decades.
Similarly, back then, 15 percent of childbirths had taken place in Australia’s towns before a significant decrease to only 10%, respectively. Finally, before a major decline for that share, 40% of childbirths had held in the land’s countrysides.
