The pie chart illustrates the expenditure spent on restaurants for food by an average family. Whereas, the line graph depicts the consumption rate for a year on fast foods and sit-down restaurants.
Overall, it is evident that most of the families spent there budget more on home cooking rather than restaurants for the first 3 decades and in the last year it went with equal percentage. The consumption count on fast food meals and sit down restaurants are equal at the initial year and became opposite by the end of the year with 45 and 90 members respectively.
To begin, the budget spent on restaurant meals is relatively low compared to home cooking in the initial year and also followed for other 2 decades with 90,85 and 65 percentages for respective years 1970,1980 and 1990. However, in the final year 2000 the expenditure rate was sliced equally with 50 percentage each
On the other hand, in the year 1970 the intake rate of meals per year initiated with 20 numbers each ( fast foods and sit down restaurants), the sit down restaurant meals had a gradual growth with 15,10 and 5 numbers in the respective years 1980,1990 and 2000. Likewise, the fast food also went on for one decade with 5 numbers and then it roared suddenly in the next 20 years and went to 55 members in 1990, lastly, it had touched the peak point with 90 members in the year 2000.
