Overall, both fossil prices’ in the first state had edged up by 2008, after which it experienced a noticeable drop at the end of the period, while that of in the second state fluctuated throughout.
Looking at the state A’s fossil prices first, gasoline cost had followed an uninterrupted upward trajectory, starting with $0.80 in 2005 and reached $1.40 in 2008, before dropping $0.75 by the end of the period. A similar pattern can be seen in petrol price, it increased from $0.60 in 2005 to $1.20 in 2008, after which it declined sharply, accounting for $.055 in 2008.
Turning to the state B, gasoline cost reached $1.15 in 2006, up from $0.90 in 2005. After that it underwent a slight dip in 2007, bouncing back to $1.30 in the following year, making it the highest figure in the charts. In the year when the period finish, corresponding figure decreased $0.70. Regarding petrol price, the figure rose to $0.95 in 2006, at which point it fell back to $0.90 after the next year and went down the time span, at $0.50.
