The charts provide information about the ratio of the production of energy from several sources in a country from 1985 to 2003.
Overall, at the beginning of period other renewable sources contributed the least to the production of energy in a country, while at the end of period hydrogen and other renewable sources made the lowest contribution. On the other hand, oil was the most significant sources of energy in both time periods.
Natural gas accounted for 13% of the source of energy produced in 1985 and experienced increase by 10% in 2003. The country produced energy from coal was 8% in 1985 and had a growth of 5% which reached at 13% in 2003. At the beginning of the period, other renewable sources in a country made up 1% to produce energy and these figure rose to 4% in 2003.
Oil, which comprised over a half of source of the energy production in 1985, fell to 39% in 2003. In 1985, the energy produced from nuclear source was at 22% and it decreased by 5% after 17-years period. In contrast, Hydrogen remained constant in both years at 4%.
