The given charts illustrate the research on adult education. The bar chart provided information about the motivation that makes adults decide to study. The pie chart displays how different groups should contribute to the cost of the course. Overall, interest in the subject is the most popular reason why they choose to study, individuals have the highest course cost share.

In the bar chart, the two main purposes why adults continue their studies are because of their interest in the subject and qualifying with 40% and 38% respectively. While helpful for current jobs takes up 22% and improved prospects of promotion and enjoyment in learning and studying take up 20% each. Meeting people and to able to change jobs is the least common in the seven as it were 9% and 12% sequentially.

Turning to the pie chart, the taxpayer individual and employer are the people who will pay for the course. A quarter of it goes to the taxpayer, nearly one-third will be paid by employers and there rest is to individuals.
