Overall, Brasília experienced significant variations in rainfall throughout the year, with the wettest months occurring at the beginning and end of the year, while the middle months remained relatively dry. In contrast, Salvador maintained a more consistent level of precipitation, with a peak in the middle of the year.
In Brasília, rainfall was highest in January and December, both exceeding 200 mm. However, from March onwards, precipitation declined steadily, reaching its lowest levels between June and August, when it was almost negligible. Rainfall then gradually increased from September to December.
Salvador, on the other hand, received rainfall throughout the year, with figures consistently above 100 mm. The wettest months were April, May, and June, when precipitation surpassed 250 mm. Although rainfall decreased in the later months, it remained relatively stable from July to December, fluctuating between 100 mm and 150 mm.
