The bar chart illustrates average daily time spent on leisure activities by different age groups in New Zealand
Overall it’s clear that in both leisure activities the oldest group of individuals 56 to 65 years old spends their time in both activities some of whereas the age group 14-24 prefers spend their time on listening music compared to reading books.
In detail the listening music was significantly increased in all groups of ages while groups of ages 14-24 and 56-65 was reached a peak to 80 minutes per day whereas the youth 25 to 32 spend their time in listening music than reading a book.
Followed the data only one group of age 32 to 42 was remain stable in two leisure activities whereas the other groups age 43 to 55 spent 50 minutes to reading but they slowly increasing on listening music to 60 minutes per day
