The cited bar graphs provide information about two genres of TV programmes watched by men and women and four different age groups in Australia. The two genres surveyed were reality shows and game shows.
It is conspicuous from the bar graph that the highest percentage of viewers who watched reality shows were women at approximately 70% whereas the lowest percentage was recorded by the men at approximately 35%. Viewers of 45 years and above comprised of the highest ratio of people who watched game shows (around 70%) whereas people aged between 25-34 contributed to the lowest viewership ratio (around 40%).
As can be compared from the bar graphs, there was a two-fold increase in the ratio of female viewers who watched reality shows when compared to that of the male viewers. The proportion of men and women who viewed game shows was almost the same (around 60%).
Overall, although women comprised of the highest ratio of viewers who watched reality shows, the ratio of men and women was almost the same in the category of the people who viewed game shows. Audience who was 45years and above were the highest viewers of game shows.
