Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my concern about the closing of the cafeteria of our office. I am Tahmina Akter, working in the marketing department. I frequently visit the cafe twice or thrice a week, and I firmly believe that if the service is improved, then almost all employees and staff will use it.
The cafeteria is the place to hang out with colleagues during lunch and coffee breaks. I remember it used to be a crowded place a couple of years ago. Currently, over the four microwaves, only one is functioning properly. As a result, employees need to wait a lot to reheat their tiffin. On top of that, few staff are working there, so it would take ages to serve an order. Consequently, the workers are now preferring to have lunch at their desks.
If the cafeteria closed, there is no longer any place for the employees to sit and have their meal. It would be nice if the cafe management employed some staff and got the microwave ovens repaired; then everyone could chill out during break time and have lunch properly.
Hoping for a kind consideration from you regarding this matter!
Yours faithfully,
Tahmina Akter
