Overall, it is evident that there are three main stages in the procedure with three main components: two lids, a pipe, and a box which are positioned at the underground level.
As shown in the picture, the first section of a domestic key shows that the first lid allows fresh air in when it is opened. After entering, the air continues to pass a pipe and leading to the second stage. The second lid is used to add more wood logs and there is a fire directly under the lid, which is utilized to warm the air.
In the last stage, the hot air from the second phase goes through a smaller pipe to go into a box. In the last box, raw ingredients such as fish or meat, is hung on top of it, where the hot air from underground can rise to cook them.
