The given diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing olive oil.
Overall, the linear process is totally man-made, consiting of seven distinct stages. Starting with the harvesting of olive fruit, followed by the process of raw materials, lastly the products are stored and exhibited by shops.
Initially, ripe olive fruits are picked by a worker and loaded into baskets, which are then transported to a cleaning machine. This washing machine uses cold water to remove dirt and impurities. Once this stage is accomplished, the cleaned fruits is then transferred by a belt to the smashing machine, which uses force to compress them into olive paste and olive stones.
The olive pastes are then filled in bags with holes. Eventually, these bags are delivered to stages, which press and seperate them into oil and water by special machines. At the final stage, these products are storaged and exhibited by retailers and stores.
