The diagram provided illustrates the production of olive oil. To the casual eye, the process consists of seven major steps with two alternative endings, commencing with the olives being picked, with multiple manufacturing steps in between, and then culminating with the result being sold at a store.
The manufacturing process begins with the olives being harvested. After that, they are rinsed with cold water and transferred by a belt to a machine. Following that, the olives are smashed by the smasher, with the olive paste and the olive stones are the result.
The olive stones are wasted after that, while the paste is filled inside bags with holes, followed by the bags being pressed by another machine. After this step is completed, the next step involves separating the water and oil inside the paste. Ultimately, the separate water is disposed of, and the oil is utilized for consumption. The olive oil is kept in reserve in a storage room, then packaged and delivered to shops and ready to be sold.
