The diagrams below illustrate how City Park has developed prior to and following the construction of a swimming pool. In general, while the park maintained its size, some areas were reorganized to prioritize the new swimming pool.
Before the renovations, there were two basketball courts on the right side of Park Road. Opposite them was a garden with a large fountain in the middle of the park. In addition, a couple of parking lots were located to the south of the road.
After the changes, some areas became smaller, and a new swimming pool was built, replacing the parking lot. Consequently, the size of the garden was slightly reduced to make space for the pool, and the fountain was removed. One parking lot was relocated from the right side to the left side of the road. Furthermore, only one basketball court remains, as the other was converted into a nearby parking lot.
