Overall, the process has several stages, which are mainly carried out in the factory, commences with coal exploitation and culminates with electricity generation.
At the beginning of the process, coal is exploited from a mine. After being transported to the factory, coal is put into a furnance by convey or belt. After that, coal is burnt at high temperatures by oxygen which is piped from another factory. A part of fired coal becomes slag while the remaining coal is converted into raw syngas. Following that, raw syngas is filtered to get purified syngas by removing harmful elements such as carbon dioxide, mercury and sulfur. Processed syngas is then fed into gas turbine and rotates turbine which is connected to generator, leads into the production of electricity. Gas turbine produces hot exhaust gases, which are then transferred to another factory before being processed through a heat revovery steam generator and converted into steam. Steam turbine is spinned to generate electricity.
