Band 6+: The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

Image for topic: The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant
Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image contains a diagram of a geothermal power plant indicating the flow and transformation of energy through various components from a geothermal zone (hot rocks) beneath the earth's surface up to the power grid. Cold water is injected 4.5 km down into the geothermal zone where it is heated to produce steam which rises through a production well. The steam powers a turbine connected to a generator, producing electricity at 25 kV. The steam is then condensed, and the process repeats.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The diagram illustrates the process of making electricity with the help of geothermal power plant.

Overall, there are different stages in which water passes and become steam in the last stage. Also, there is a generator which plays a key role to generate electricity.

Firstly, cold water is pumped down to 4.5 km distance in the earth. Secondly, when it reaches to the injection well, it passes through geothermal zone where cold water converts into hot water because of the hot rocks. After that, passing through hot rocks, it stores in the production well. Thirdly, hot water pumped up towards a condenser where it becomes steam.

Moreover, a turbine is rotated by hot steam which is directly comes from a condenser and it is also connected with a generator. So, a generator is powered by a turbine and produces electricity. Finally, generated electricity goes to many places with the help of a tower.
