The diagram illustrates the process of oil extraction in the perfume production.
Overall, this is a complex process with four main stages to collect oil from chamber.
Initially, water in a container is heated until become stream, which is transferred into another machine through a pipe at its bottom. The purpose of this stage is to boil the aromatic plants in the machine, such as chamber, then collecting the oil evaporating from them. The mixture of stream and oil vapor is transported to a condenser for continuing the production.
In the condenser, cold water is pumped through a pipe at the bottom left-handed corner, while the hot water is pumped out through another one at the top right-handed corner. Therefore, the mixture from the previous step will be cooled down and become a mixture of water and oil. This mixture will be delivered in a separator, which divides the mixture into two parts: the essential oil is at the top and the hydrolat is below. These two separating parts will be taken out through two ways, one on the left for the oil and the other side for the aromatic water.
