The given figure illustrates the process of recycling plastic goods.
Overall, it is a cyclical process starting from collection of plastic products which further undergoes processes such as sorting and finally results in the formation of a resuable bag.
All kinds of recyclable plastic products such as bottles and detergent bottles are collected from various places and brought to the recycling plant. These plastics are then placed on a conveyer belt and gets sorted out manually. They then get arranged into many compact bundles comprising of different types of plastic.
These bundles are passed through a machine which crushes them. The crushed pieces then get washed in water containing chemicals and are then transported into another machine which grinds them to make new polyethylene terephthalate pellets, PET for short. These PET are then made into fabric through certain processes and finally results in the formation of a reusable bag. These bags can be recycled again and the process continues.
