Overall, the process includes 5 steps, beginning with preparing plastic bottles to contain 2m³ and concluding with collecting compost for the garden.
At the first step, after the plastic container with a 2m³ volume is prepared, it needs to have some vents pierced on the container side to allow free air flow. Then, the shredded waste is placed inside the compost bin. Subsequently, the waste is layered in order: food at the bottom, followed by grass and newspaper, with each layer being 15cm thick.
At the following stage, two substances, nitrogen and water, are added to aid in decomposition. However, only hot water is used, as the heat breaks down the organic matter. Next, the top is sealed, and the heat produced from the reaction escapes through the vents on the container. Finally, about 6 months later, the waste changes into fertilizer, which can be used for gardening.
