The maps illustrate how the coastal village of Seaville improved between 1980 and 2010.
Overall, the village dramatically improved. Except East Bank and hotel, everything changed making it more residential area.
To begin with, the forest on the north-western side had been converted into a golf zone. By 2010, the wetland had been demolished on purpose and new permanent residential homes were built. Although there were improvements in the north-western part, the hotel on the southest section remained intact throughout several decades. Land nearby the river in 1980 used to be neglected, however, in 2010 it was made more residential by relocating holiday cottages.
While the eastern area had few facilities, it was modernized by making it more rec area. The small tea room was removed and replaced with the restaurant. In the place of the sand dunes additional hotel was built, which was four times bigger than the hotel on the opposite side. In addition, infrastructure of roads developed, new roads were built to make it more accessible to the public. A village specialized for aged people was constructed near the central part of the Seaville, adjacent to it new boat club was added.
