Overall, the sugar cane is a man-made and linear process. It is a seven – stages. It commences with growing sugar cane, which takes 12 to 18 months, and the final process concludes with drying and cooling.
At the first stage, the sugar cane is cultivated. Next, it is harvested by hand or using a tractor. After harvesting, it is crushed by a machine,and then juice is extracted from the sugar cane.
The process continues with the juice being purified using a limestone filter. The juice is heated in an evaporator, which results in the formation of syrup. At the sixth step, a centrifuge is used to separate the sugar crystals from the syrup. In the final stage, sugar is drying and cooling, completing the sugar production process.
