The pictures illustrate the sugar production from sugar cane. Overall, there are seven stages in the diagram, from growing sugar canes for 12 to 18 months to drying and cooling the ready sugar crystals.
First of all, it takes 12 to 18 months for the sugar cane to grow. Once the plants have grown sufficiently, it is then harvested, either mechanically or manually. After that, by crushing the sugar canes ,using specific machine the liquid what so-called juice is extracted.
Following this, in order to purify the juice, it is required to filter through limestone filtration system. The next step is that the juice is placed in an evaporator, where the heat is applied until it turns into syrup. Once the syrup has been ready, it is then separated into sugar crystals in a centrifuge. Finally, in order to get the end product, sugar crystals go through a drying and cooling process.
