The bar charts illustrate the portion of ownership of landline telephones per 1000 people in various countries from 2000 to 2004.
Overall, Singapore hit the highest point among all countries, while Myanmar hit a trough among all countries. Additionally, Brunei Darussalam had half of the proportion of landline telephones while being the second after Singapore.
Throughout the period, Singapore had the biggest number among other countries which had just above 450 in 2000 and 2002 respectively, and approximately 430 in 2004. The ownership of telephones of Brunei Darussalam was about 250 in 2000 and 2004, whilst in 2004 the number was about 230 per 1000 people.
Furthermore, Philippines and Thailand had almost similar features as being just under 150, however for 2004 Philippines had just around 70, whereas for Thailand the portion occurred at zero point. In the remaining countries they all had numbers below 50 over the three year period, and the least proportion had Myanmar under 5 in 2000 and 2002, but in 2004 it had the proportion at about 3.
