This bar chart illustrates the amount of telephone owners per thousand people in various countries in a period of five years. Overall, telephone seemed to be popular in 2000 across all the cities. The number of phone owners varied considerably.
Regarding the year 2000, Singapore had the highest level of telephone ownership was at 460,000 people . A similar occurrence happened in 2002. Brunei Darussalan wes the second country where people used phone in both 2000 and 2002. Apparently, the figures were the same at 250 per individual. About five other countries had the least ownership.
With respect to 2004, in Singapore over 430,000 individuals used the landline, which was on a high side. In Brunei Darussalam they were the second country with 230 thousand people who owned a telephone. Other countries like Cambodia and Vietnam, alongside other five countries had the lowest figure. Meanwhile, in the year 2000 and 2002 citizens who owned a phone were popular in other countries but there was a change in Vietnam and Cambodia which had a high number of those with landline in 2004. However, in Myanmar telephone was almost eradicated in both years.
