The scheme illustrates the process of plant photogenesis. Overall, this process includes a lot of another little processes, which transformated sun energy into oxygen.
Firstly, the rays of green light from the sun go into leafs of plants, and it makes them green-colored. At the same time, the leafs also collecting carbon dioxide from the air, through the special holes on the leafs epidermis – stomata, to combine it with water and oxygen. What about the water – it is absorbed through the plants roots and carried through the stem to rest of the plant. These water, carbon dioxide and light energy combined into leafs and converted into sugar. The excess of sugar stored as stratch in the roots of plant. Nextly, oxygen and water vapor, formed during this process, exists from leafs into air. This process called “transpiration”.
In general, the process of photosystesis it is a difficult and important process in nature, which transformated sun rays, CO2 and water into oxygen – gas we breath.
