The diagram illustrates the steps, processes and equipments used for the recycling and production of plastic bottles.
Overall, there’s 6 steps involved in this process which begins with the collection of plastic bottles of different shapes and colours from the recycling bins then secondly, these plastic bottles are been sorted into colours at the recycling plant, in addition, these sorted plastic bottles takes the next step which is to pour them into the crushing machine for proper compression thereby making the plastic bottles flat and easy to disintegrate.
Futhermore, the crushed plastic bottles are been poured into the cutting machine for proper disintegration and granulated, after which is been poured into the heating machine and after passing through the heating temperature for the formation of plastic pellets.
Lastly, the plastic pellets are poured into the molding machine which grind the pellets into liquid then cast into a mold for the successful formation of a new recycled bottle.
