The information about how water is used to create electricity for our homes and other buildings is depicted in this diagram.
Overall, to produce electricity from water a lot of different things from sun to turbine. 9 steps must be done to deliver electricity from the sea to hospitals and schools.
Firstly, the sun has to heat the sea to 100 degrees, after that water will evaporate and create rain. Next step is rain must fill a reservoir that is located nearby with a dam. Valve open will relocate water for the turbine, to protect it from overheating. Electricity will be produced, but a little piece of it will go to a pump that is located under the reservoir with water.
Afterward, light will go to high voltage cables, for entire cities and villages. The transformer station is a final stage before this electricity will come to our houses. There it will be divided between everyone and everything, and along underground cables it will come to our houses. Immediately after that it will go to some factories which will produce some things for us. Finally, this electricity will come to hospitals and schools.
