The process diagram illustrates the use of gas cooling nuclear which helps in the production of steam where by it consists of reactor and heat exchanger.
Overall, it is a continuous cycle that keeps the reactor from overheating, while carrying out the heat and steam, which will power the turbines.
First of all, the reactor has uranium fuel elements which is covered by graphite moderators. Here, also lies boron control roads that is clipped by charge tubes for loading fuel elements. It is then, surrounded by a pressure vessel and lastly covered by concrete radiation shield. The hot gas is flowed from the reactor toward the heat exchanger by the help of duct.
In the heat exchanger, the heat is flowed towards the bottom allowing the heat to align with the water circulator which, gradually flows cool gas in the duct. The gas blower makes the flow of coolness again in the reactor which, shows a never ending process.
