The illustration depicts the plastic recycling process.
Overall, it is clear that the process involves several steps which begin with the buying, using and discarding of new plastic products and end with newly recycled products entering the market again.
In the first stage, plastic products are displayed in stores and purchased by users. After being used, they are thrown into landfills along with other types of waste and buried in landfills. However, plastic bottles and containers are collected for recycling. In the next step, plastic bottles will be taken to sorters, where they are divided into different categories.
Once the plastic has been sorted, it is then transported to factories for processing and manufacturing into new plastic products by truck. These new recycled plastic products are then eventually distributed back to retail stores, where they are sold, reused and discarded again, and so on.
