The given diagram gives information about how cement and concrete is manufactured and shows numerous tools that are used during the process. Overall, this is a man- made process, dividing into 2 main parts and consisting of 8 specific steps. Moreover, it begins with the original limestone and clay and ends with a purpose product.
With regard to the production of cement, the process begins when limestone and clay are crushed into a mixed powder by an equipment called crusher. After that, this prepared powder undergoes a mixer and then being heated in the rotating heater. Before becoming the cement and being packed in bags, the powder needs to be grinded by a specialized tool.
About the way to generate concrete, initially, there was a mixed powder of 15 percent cement that is manufactured in the previous process, 10 percent water, a quarter sand and 50% gravel. The process finishes when this mixture goes into the concrete mixer, which spins to produce the last product called concrete.
