The maps illustrate the significant changes that have occurred in a science park between 2008 and the present day.
Overall, the science park has witnessed major change, with the most noticeable being the new facilities and the appearance of some places.
In 2008, the science park was simple and had less modern facilities. The IT centre was situated in the South-west of the map next to woodland. On the right hand side of the IT centre was Cyber security, while the Car park was located in the centre of the map. In the North-west of the map was grassland and beside it were business units. The reception and office buildings were located in the northern part of the central area.
At present, the station has been built to serve a convenient commute in this place. From the station, going straight and turning left, the innovation centre has been situated in this place to replace the IT centre. Cyber security has retained its original location, however it has been expanded. In addition, both the car park and business units have been upgraded. The cycle path and bus stop have been built in the eastern corner of the map. Grassland space has been destroyed to make way for the research and development area. When the office area has stayed unchanged, the university hub area has been replaced by the reception area
