The diagram below illustrates the production process of canned fruits.
Overall, the entire process consists of fourteen steps, starting with the picking of fruits and culminating in the delivery of the canned products. Furthermore, strict quality control measures and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the factory.
To begin, the fruits are picked and then delivered to the factory. After selection and weighing, the fruits are washed and stored in a cool area before being peeled and cut into pieces.
Once cut, all ingredients are put into a can, including fruits, water, juice and syrup before sealing. Cooking and sterilizing are critical for the whole process, which can help canned fruits store for a long time. Seals are attached to the tops of the jars; however, the jars still need to be cooked and sterilized. After this stage, the jars undergo a cooling process, completing the manufacturing sequence. Finally, the finished products are packaged and delivered to various supermarkets.
