Overall, it is clear that the airport will undergo significant changes in terms of the size, the number of facilities and main entrances, making it more accessible and modern.
Now, the southwest of airport has only 8 gates to enter and only one walkway. The area is divided into two parts: a security passport control and passport control customs. The left side consists of 2 facilities: a café and check-in, while the right side has nothing. There is only one entrance for each arrival and departure areas.
However, a significant shift will be seen after the development, with the addition of two buildings, that will consist of 18 gates. The walkway will be transformed into sky train, making the destination to be reached faster. Two passport checking areas will be remained, but new facilities for people will be added, like an atm, a car hire and a bag drop, making the passengers’ arrival more comfortable. The locations of Check in and café will be switched. Finally, the departures and arrivals section will have more entrances.
