The given pictures demonstrate the internal design of an LED ( light emitting diode) and its operation.
Overall, the flashlight comprises a series of main components, including a sliding switch, a plastic case and a power source from -batteries. It is noteworthy that this LED’s mechanism depends on the turning on and off of an electric circuit.
Looking first at the design, the device is covered by a plastic case, and the light bulb is situated at the top. In addition, there is the sliding switch, which is located at the middle of plastic body, to serve the power supply of the bulb. More significantly, an inside compartment consists of two batteries with the lower one resting on a metal spring, whereas the upper battery with the lower one resting on a metal spring, whereas the upper battery attaches to the light bulb that lets electricity current go through the flashlight.
Regarding the operation, the flashlight mechanism is based on using the sliding switch to modify the flow of electricity. When the switch is turned off, contacts move downward to prevent the current from flowing. On the contrary, if the switch is opened, contacts will close the circuit, which passes through the batteries and reaches the bulb in order to manufacture light.
