Overall, the writing system is divided into five main branches : Logographic, Abjad, Abjuda, Alphabetic and Syllabic, which in turn have their own algorithms, examples and notes.
According to the diagram, the first method is a Logographic, which demonstrates that a character represents a word. Chinese as an example shows that languages can share writing systems but are distinct from pronunciation . The next one is Abjad, in contrast to the previous one, it represents one character equals one consonant sound and uses Arabic as an example. The third one demonstrates one character equals one consonant plus one vowel. The Alphabetic method represents pronunciation and spelling can differ from each other , moreover the English language based on this method. The last system is Syllabic, shows that a character represents a syllable and is widely spread in Japanese Kana.
