Overall, the writing system is divided into five main branches : Logographic, Abjad, Abjuda, Alphabetic and Syllabic, which in turn have their own algorithms, examples and notes.
According to the diagram, the first method is a Logographic, which demonstrates that a character represents a word. Chinese as an example shows that languages can share writing systems but are distinct from pronunciation . The third one demonstrates one character equals one consonant plus one vowel.
