The stages and processes required in order to produce tea for selling at supermarkets are described by the diagram shown above.
As a general idea, it can be seen that the overall process involves an initial phase of cultivation followed by the intermediate phases of preparation and packaging. In the final part, the product has to be shipped to its destination: supermarkets.
First, acording to the data, tea crops need to be cultivated and left to grow for a period taking 3 years. After the most suitable leaves have been picked, comes a couple of activities corresponding to the preparation part of the process. During this preparation part, the rest stage is essential, which can be done indoors or outdoors. Subsequently, the product has to be industrially dryed using a machine with the capacity to reach an internal temperature of 260 degrees celsius for about 2 hours.
As part of the final process comes the packing stage where the resultant dry tea is stored within bags which in turn are packed inside boxes. This boxes are then sent to supermarkets where costumers can buy tea in a convenient manner.
