Overall, English is the parent language, and it is further divided into the American and British. While there are fewer sub-divisions in the American branch, that of the British consists of more sub-branches.
American English is sub-divided into that of the USA and Canadian dialects. The USA English is spoken in six specific regions which include the Phillipines, American Samao, West Coast, Mid-West Southern, North-East Coast and, Puertorico. On the other hand, Canada has just the Anglophone and Francophone dialects of American English languages.
The sub-branches of the British language are more complicated because, there are several dialects. First of all, the British language has six branches: the West Indies, British Isles, Africa, Indian-Pakistan, Australasia and, the Far East. The West Indies comprises Jamaica and Barbados dialects however, British Isles is made up of Iris, Welsh, English and, Scottish languages.
Again, Africa is sub-divided into the West, East and, Anglophone dialects as opposed to the Far East which is made up of two divisions: that of the Malay and, Chinese dialects. The Australasia sub-branch of British English is spoken in Australia and New Zealand, while the Indian-Pakistan just represents all types of spoken Indian English.
