Diagram A portrays the composition of the picture frame and the material it is made of. It can be seen that a picture frame consists of 3 main parts: the frame, the glass, and the backing made out of wood or cardboard. The frame surrounds the glass that covers the picture or photograph. The backing is put behind the photo and is held by two clips on both the top and bottom of the frame.
The frame shown in diagram B shows the front view of a picture frame made out of silver. Its width reaches up to 20 cm and its length to 30 cm. The frame is quite narrow and leaves large space for the photo to be placed.
The frame shown in diagram C is similar to the one in diagram B. The frame stands at an equal length of 30cm but the frame of diagram C has a 19cm width, a centimeter less than diagram B. The frame that is made out of wood is quite large and leaves a smaller space for the photograph.
