The two maps illustrate the main changes which have taken place in the downtown of Felix stone from 1967 to 2001
Overall , upon redevelopment , Felix Stone underwent a number of dramatic changes , the most important of which was development of amenities catering for recreational needs and the disappearance of the fish market and pier .
In 1967 , Felix stone had rather limited range of facilities . Initially, golf course is located on the top left hand side of map . There was a high street in the between two shops . Moreover, fish maket, cafe , hotel lined the central road at the bottom on the first map. And there were dunes and simillar types of trees in the west side.
Within thirty four years, the area underwent some radical changes . The one of the most changes is farmland .That is , farmland through demolished in 2001year and istead of , swimming pool constructed and it is including tennis court and hotel . Besides , fish market removed on the second map and it is opened up private beach instead . The dunes shrank to make room fot new wind turbines and the woodland increased in size . while , cafe , golf course, shops remain unchanched also on the second map in 2001 .
