The maps illustrate the changes that occurred in Felix Stone from 1967 to 2001.
Overall, the place underwent a wide range of changes, with the most notable ones being the introduction of a new private beach and the disappearance of the farmland. In addition, the demolition of the pier was also recorded throughout the time course.
In 1967, the golf course was in the northwest of Felix Stone, to the left of the shop, and the high street, which was between two shops, was in the north of that place. Farmland was located in the northeast of Felix Stone, opposite the Fish Market. The central area was anchored by a café flanked between a hotel and a pier with a marina. Running along the southwest of Felix Stone were trees and two dunes, which lay just north of the sea.
In 2001, the golf course and two shops with the high street remained unchanged, while the farmland, which was located in the vicinity, was replaced by a group of swimming pools, a hotel, and a tennis court. Simultaneously, the fish market and pier were knocked down to allow for beach spatial growth, and a car park was built next to the Hotel, in proximity to the dunes. To the south of the dunes, there are new three wind turbines, and more trees were planted.
