The given maps illustrate the various changes that Felixstone had undergone from 1967 to 2001.
Overall, there were significant alterations in the layout of the town. Notably, additional features such as a private beach, a public beach, wind turbines and a large entertainment complex were introduced in the 2001 map.
Firstly, the Marina Pier and the fish market that could be seen to the southeast side of the 1967 map no longer existed by 2001, having been replaced by a public beach and a private beach. Secondly, a cafe and a hotel that was once in the middle of the map was slightly moved down, making place for a car park next to the hotel. Thirdly, four wind turbines have been installed in the southwest of the city, just below the dunes.
Lastly, looking at the north side of the map, the farmland in the right corner was converted into a large entertainment complex with a hotel, swimming pool, and a tennis court at some time between 1967 and 2001.
