The figures below illustrate the process of manufacturing cement and concrete. Overall, the stages begin with the raw materials for cement production and continue with the steps for concrete production, intended for construction purposes.
To commence the cement manufacturing process, limestone and clay serve as the raw materials. They are simultaneously crushed into a powdered form using the same crusher. Subsequently, the powdered materials are transferred to a mixer. Once mixed, the material is fed into a rotating heater chamber, where it undergoes thorough rotation and heating with fire. Following this stage, grinding is applied to the material as it exits the rotating heater. Finally, the cement is packed into bags before being used for construction purposes.
The process of making concrete starts with ingredient preparation. Gravel constitutes the largest portion at 50%, followed by sand at a quarter, cement at 15%, and water at ten percent. These materials are combined in a concrete mixer. After a thorough mixing process, the concrete is ready for use
