The water supply system in Australia contains four water sources and three water types that flow in the system. All the source that represent in the diagram are the storage, the water treatment plant, the river, and the residential places. All the water types are pure water, storm water, and waste water.
The system starts at the storage such as dam, it’s the water source that collects and maintain the water from natures such as rain or ocean. The dam will manage the water and send a pure water to different residential places such as a households, a city, or even in production system in the factories.
If water in the dam has been used or unusable, it’ll become a waste water that unusable which will be send to the water treatment plant. Same with the residential places, the waste water will be send to the treatment plant too.
Water supply don’t have to come from the storage but can come from the natures by itself. In residential places, there are rains or snow that could become a water source but these aren’t enough resources for a benefitial usages, so it’ll become a storm water that will get absorb in the ground and flow into the river.
