The diagram illustrates how plastic bottles are recycled for manufacturing other products.
Overall, there are 9 main stages in the process of recycling plastic bottles, starting with collecting bottles from garbage bins and ending with producing finished products.
In the first steps, citizens will throw various used plastic bottles into trash bins before they are collected by garbage trucks. These trucks will take these bottles to the recycling center where they are sorted by hand. Next, these bottles are compressed into hard blocks and then put into a crusher machine. The bottle blocks are crushed into pieces of plastic preparing for recycling.
Plastic pieces are poured in producing plastic pellets after being cleaned with water and then people heat pellets with high temperature to make raw materials. The raw materials are packed and transported to factories where people use them to produce products including clothes or recycle bags.
