The map illustrates the changes of a small museum and its surroundings from 1990 to 2010.
As the map shows, in 1990, the museum in the west of the map featured an entrance, a storage room, a shop and a cottage with four exhibition rooms. In the opposite position, a garden was located next to a car park, which was seperated to the museum by a large path. There was also a garden situated to the north west, consisting greenspace.
After two decades, there were slight changes to the spaces and the buildings’ construction. Firstly, the museum was widen so the entrance became larger, as the dividing path was narrowed. Four exhibition rooms were reduced to two, while the shop was expanded. The cottage in the southwest of the museum was replaced by a cafe. To the southeast, greenspace was reduced to make room for the carpark’s enlargement in 2010. The garden located to the northwest and the main road remained the same.
