The given diagrams illustrates the life cycle of a salmon. The life cycle encompasses several stages, starting from the upper river, where salmon eggs are laid, to the return of adult salmon to the upper river.
The first stage of the life cycle begins in the upper river, where the slow moving water includes reeds and small stones. The eggs are stayed in upper river approximately 5 or 6 month. After that process the salmons enters the fry stage. At this point, their measure is around 3- 8cm. The fry then make their way to lower river where to fast slowing water and they stay there nearly 4 years. After that place, the fries are enters the smolt stage which as they measure is 12- 15 cm form.
Then, the smolts continues to open sea for live there for about half of 10 years. The life cycle of salmon fishes ends with turn back to upper river where to began life cycle. In this process, they enter to adult salmon with 70- 75 cm measure.
