Overall, it can be seen that the population of both England and Wales saw a dramatic increase in the first chart in the given years. Subsequently, the ranking of birth, in the second chart, rose significantly in over the period given, whereas the number of death decreased slightly in the same period.
In terms of first chart, The population of England and Wales stood at under 10 million in 1700 which then doubled to around 15 million in 1800. By 2000, the figure had reached a high of almost 50 million, almost 5 times that of the population in 1700.
With regard to the second chart, the birth rate was just under 10 per 1000 in 1700 and peaked at over 20 per 1000 in 1800 before dropping to slightly over 10 in the final century. Likewise, the number of death showed a similar trend but was between 5 and 10 per 1000 less than the birth rate at all times.
