In this report, I will describe two bar charts. The first chart displays the population of England and Wales from 1700 to 2000, while the second chart provides information about birth and death rates in the same countries during the same period.
Overall, the population reached its highest point in 2000 with approximately 48 million inhabitants, while the lowest point was in 1700 with around 8 million.
The population graph indicates a gradual upward trend in the population of England and Wales from 1700 to 2000. Specifically, the population figures were approximately 8 million in 1700, 18 million in 1800, 38 million in 1900, and 48 million in 2000.
According to the birth and death rate chart, the highest number of births and deaths occurred in 1800, with approximately 23,000 births and 17,000 deaths. In 1700, the frequency of births was much higher and quite similar to the number of deaths during that year. The lowest number of births occurred in 1700, while the fewest deaths were recorded in 2000, with approximately 8,000 and 5,000, respectively.
