The flow-chart illustrates the process of the production of the Christmas toys using a special FDM machine with 3D printing.
Overall, the producing process contains 4 different stages of creating the Christmas toys, beginning with 3D modeling on a computer and ending with painting and polishing these toys. The process shows how the Christmas toys are made out of the raw materials and become prepared for the decoration by people.
To begin with, at the first stage the Christmas toys are modeled and designed by specialists on the computer in the CAD software. 3D CAD data is transferred to the FDM machine, where the preparation of the future toys is getting physically started. Two colorful spools provide materials on the wires. A first wire uses as a supporting filament, while the another one uses as a build filament. The materials go through the extrusion heads and transform into the future toy. One wire makes a toy and the another one create a support structure.
Subsequently, this toy, built by layers in the FDM machine, is removed from the support structure and goes through the UV oven. It has a curing session during 20 minutes and, after that, is getting finished by painting, cleaning, and polishing process.
