As we can see in the first picture, there was only an empty street around the Clock Tower Roundabout. On the sideways there were huge fields with a lot of trees and few buildings.
One of the most changes in recent decades is that the buildings have been built widespread on the empty fields in the past and trees have been removed from the sideways to surround the Clock Tower roundabout. Moreover, this place now has a large number of cars which have never existed before and the traffic here seems to have become quite heavy
