Overall, the remarkable changes depicted in the photos serve as evidence of the significant transformation of Dubai after some provisions on the street from the preceding years that led to a more developed and populated today.
As can be seen from the first map, there was a giant street with a flexible road surrounding a large roundabout. The road was deserted with empty huge fields around and few buildings; the roundabout was mainly surrounded by sand. At the edges of curbs, many trimmed bushes had been planted.
In contrast, the second one illustrates the roundabout is now vibrant and bustling. The clock tower in the middle of the roundabout remains the same. The extensive urbanization has completely altered the environment, replacing the desert with numerous skyscrapers filling the roadside. On the edge of the roundabout, trees have been planted. Moreover, the road have looked more modern and crowded by appearing lots of vehicles moving everywhere.
